Branding in Seongsu Episode 15 picks up where the previous episode left off. To determine who was responsible for attempting to kill her, Na-eon, who is currently inhabiting Eun-ho’s body, goes to see the person who sent her a message. Soon after, we find out that the person who sent her a message is Director Han.
Just when Na-eon enters the room, she hears bells and faints. On the other hand, Eun-ho hears the door ring. Immediately after opening the door, he passes out and falls into Jung-woo’s arms. After regaining consciousness, both of them come to the realisation that their souls have been successfully swapped back into their respective bodies.
We see Eun-ho being quite ecstatic in front of Director Han, after seeing his soul return to his own body. In light of this, he is clueless about what is taking place and the reason why Na-eon went to meet with the directors. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take him long to realise that they might be Na-eon’s possible killers.
Na-eon, on the other hand, is distraught after discovering that her spirit has returned to her own body, and Jung-woo makes an effort to comfort and care for her. In her opinion, it was much simpler to catch her murderer when she was in Eun-ho’s body. Additionally, Jung-woo is adamant about not leaving her alone with Eun-ho, which is why he continues to stay at her home. In the meantime, we witness Eun-ho strike a deal with the directors to do what is best for Na-eon and help her in identifying her murderer.
When Eun-ho returns to Na-eon’s home, he expresses his happiness as they have returned to their selves. As a consequence, Jung-woo, who continues to be adamant about not leaving Na-eon’s house, is puzzled. After that, Na-eon brings Eun-ho to her room so they can have a conversation alone. Eun-ho tells Na-eon that he has agreed to play on the director’s team to help her. This comes after they discussed returning to their own bodies. In light of this, Na-eon is pleased with him because he ventured outside of his comfort zone.
Alternatively, Yu-mi goes to Director Han’s house to confront him about the fact that he has been avoiding her. However, she learns that he has replaced her with another woman. At this point, we also learn that Director Han and Yu-mi worked together to bring Na-eon down.
In the later hours of the night, Eun-ho and Jung-woo are seen dozing off in the living room. Jung-woo finds the room extremely bright and so he switches off the light. As a consequence of this, Na-eon appears to have a hallucination in which there are hands around her neck, and she passes out. When this happens, Eun-ho goes to help her in whatever way he can.
In the last minutes of the episode, Eun-ho’s friend Wool-sup is seen performing some sort of demonic ritual in front of the candles, which turn on and off by themselves. She appears to be smiling in a manner that is reminiscent of evil.
In episode fifteen, Na-eon and Eun-ho’s souls swap into their own respective bodies. By agreeing to work together with Director Han, Eun-ho is able to provide help to Na-eon. Jung-woo is suspicious of Eun-ho and so he stubbornly stays at Na-eon’s home. Wool-sup can be seen doing some demonic ritual.
At this point, it appears like the show is in the falling action phase. The intensity of the show is at an all-time high, and the drama is at its pinnacle. Having said that, the plot continues to be fairly disorganised and dull. However, the actors do an outstanding job in their respective roles, particularly the actors who play Na-eon and Eun-ho.
