Wonderful World 2024 K Drama Episode 3

Following her visit to Gun-woo, Soo-hyun returns to her mother’s house bringing about a tearful reunion of the two. Go-wun tells her daughter to let go of her pain after what happened to Gun-woo and tells her to move on. The next day, Soo-hyun meets Yu-ro who has founded her own company and is doing well after all these years.

Soon, Soo-hyun begins to finish the task given to her by Hyung-ja and goes around looking for the child who has suffered for all these years. In her search for the boy, she comes across various hurdles as it was an old case until she comes across the psychiatrist who helped the child for some time.

Seeing the psychiatrist take classes with students in a college, Soo-hyun remembers her perfect past when she was a beloved professor herself. Coming out of her daze, she then approaches the psychiatrist who assures her to look into the child’s files and look for his address. Soo-hyun thanks her and leaves to meet Yu-ri who gifts her matching heels and tells her about Su-ho’s return.

Soo-hyun doesn’t say anything but remembers when she handed her divorce papers to Yu-ri to send them to Su-ho for his good. After this, Soo-hyun goes to see the house that holds memories of her perfect life and sees the good memories pass by in front of her house. She then goes up to her son’s room and finally breaks down upon seeing his untouched memories in the room.

The next morning, she finally gets the address of the boy she has been searching for and arrives at Kwon Seon-yul’s house who isn’t there at the moment. She is handed his work address by the cafe owner downstairs and leaves to find him. Meanwhile, Seon-yul is following another politician to get evidence of his misdeeds and is almost caught but he escapes on time.

He returns to his workplace where Soo-hyun arrives and recognises him as the one who handed her the umbrella. She then gets down to business and tells him of the purpose of her visit. Seon-yul is angered by the mention of Hyung-ja and tells Soo-hyun to return as she is unaware of the pain that she has caused him with her visit.

Soo-hyun, however, is persistent and tries to talk to him. She waits for him near his house each day but while waiting she also realises the pain that she has caused him by the mention of Hyung-ja. However, Seon-yul is persistent in not giving her any attention until one day when an accident causes him to lose the necklace left behind by his mother.
Soo-hyun sees how he is asked to give up his search and leave immediately to give his statement at the police station. She takes it upon herself to search for his necklace and later returns it to him. She takes this opportunity to apologise to him as she knows the pain that he is going through and what she did was not right.

She tells him about her struggles after her son’s death and hopes for him to move on from the pain that has burdened him until today. With this she leaves and hopes for him to contact him, thus, leaving behind her number in case he decides to read Hyung-ja’s diary. Soo-hyun soon returns home and sees Su-ho with her mother, holding her bags.

He sees her and rushes to take her home but Soo-hyun doesn’t want to be a burden to him and goes back to living with him. However, Su-ho is persistent and Soo-hyun finally lets go of herself and cries in his arms and he finally takes her to their house. The next day, Su-ho takes Soo-hyun to reunite with his family and while Soo-hyun is tensed about facing her mother-in-law, she goes along.

However, she is soon surprised when her mother-in-law treats her well and thinks that she has forgiven her for the trouble that she has caused. But this glass soon shatters when her mother-in-law gets a chance to be with her alone and reveals that she is only doing this because her son threatened to break all ties with her if she didn’t accept Soo-hyun.

She tells Soo-hyun to bear with whatever comes her way henceforth as it was Soo-hyun’s fault for bringing about the tragedy in their family and she has to carry this burden for Su-ho from now on. Soo-hyun is shattered by this but holds it all inside as she too finds herself guilty for what has happened.

Later, Su-ho proposes to her with a watch and hopes that she will not let go of him again. Soo-hyun accepts him, unaware that someone has his eyes on the couple. Soon, the two return home and come across their neighbour who greets them. Seeing her son, Soo-hyun is reminded of Gu-won who was of the same age as him.

The next day, Su-ho is asked to join an interview with her wife by his seniors but he declines. Elsewhere, Soo-hyun receives the same request from the show’s producer. Later, she tells Su-ho that she will take part in the interview with him as this is the least that she can do for him. Elsewhere, the suspicious man prepares a photograph for Soo-hyun that will soon shake her life.

It is finally the day of the interview, and the couple create a flawless atmosphere that could make anyone sympathise with them. As the loss of their child is highlighted in this interview, Su-ho requests for everyone to put the past behind them and move forward while also sympathising with other parents who are in the same situation as them.

The interview soon ends and Soo-hyun rushes to the greenroom prepared for them. She checks her phone and finds a missed call from Seon-yul. She immediately calls him back and he tells her to send the location to meet as he is ready to read the diary. Soo-hyun is happy and sends him the location.

Her eyes then fall on the envelope on the table with her name on it. She opens it and sees that there is only one picture inside- it is of her husband with another woman during an intimate moment. Soo-hyun is stunned by this and the scene shifts to the room from where the pictures were sent.

There is a framed picture of the family of the man who killed Soo-hyun’s son.
The real thriller mystery has begun as we see the web of lies opening up and bringing the truth to Soo-hyun. This episode has surely opened Pandora’s box to many theories which are going to revolve around how deep the mystery lies and Soo-hyun’s role in the centre of this mess. And seeing Soo-hyun’s persistence in this episode, we are sure that she is not going to let this slip easily.

The photography room has to be one of the biggest clues of this show and the mysteries involved because we get to see the pictures of almost everyone around Soo-hyun. There are already a few targets we have in mind on who the woman with Su-ho could be and the two biggest targets are Yu-ri and the neighbourhood woman.

While Yu-ri’s vague dialogues when she gifts Soo-hyun the heels make her suspicious, the neighbour woman was present at the scene when Gu-won’s incident happened. While these two are the target when it comes to Su-ho’s infidelity, Hyung-ja is also a suspicious character as her death was never seen.

She disappears one day and that’s the last of her that we see, but we are not sure if she actually dies. Additionally, her picture in the room only makes her seem more suspicious as this may have been her plan to bring Soo-hyun and Seon-yul closer.
