Branding in Seongsu Episode 14 picks up where the previous episode left off. Jae-ha is impressed by Eun-ho and Yu-mi’s decision to hire Yoon-hyuk, an actor, to join the team as the face of the brand. Following this, Jae-ha refuses to see the underground team’s presentation and declares Yu-mi’s team as the winner.
Following this, we see reporters barge in and question actor Yoon-hyuk. In a short amount of time, it becomes abundantly evident that Na-eon, who is currently inhabiting Eun-ho’s body, exposed the actors’ drug addictions and his tendency to distribute drugs to the public. We realise that Na-eon sided with Yu-mi in order to ensure that her squad, the underground team, emerged victorious.
Immediately after this, the Seongsu and Segye agencies come together for a board meeting. In the course of the meeting, the members of the board confront Yu-mi about her incapacity to manage both the team and the project. In response to her accusation that Eun-ho was to blame for the failure of the project, the board members tell her that they have benefited from his input. Nevertheless, she was only responsible for their loss.
Yu-mi then comes face to face with Na-eon, who is currently inhabiting Eun-ho’s body. Subsequently, she confronts him about his deception, and he asserts his authority over her. Subsequently, Eun-ho, inhabiting Na-eon’s body, attends the board meeting and delivers a presentation on behalf of the team.
The team has come up with the idea of rebranding Segye whisky as a non-alcoholic beverage and has given it the name mood. This is due to the fact that it comes in a number of flavours and can be consumed by people of all ages and on many different occasions, depending on how they are feeling at the time. Jae-ha and the board are both really impressed by this.
When it comes to the promotion, the underground team throws a party and makes use of Jenny, who is an influential person. After that, this party is promoted on many social media sites. The celebration is attended by a large number of people, one of whom is Na-eon, who is currently inhabiting Eun-ho’s body. After spotting her, Eun-ho immediately goes and gets two cocktails before meeting her up on the roof.
They are both slurping their beverages, under the impression that it is alcohol-free. At this point, it should be noted that both of them have reconciled. As the episode draws to a close, Na-eon and Eun-ho end up kissing each other while they are in each other’s bodies. Jung-woo happens to spot them at this point.
During the fourteenth episode, Na-eon provides help to the underground squad, which ultimately turns into the winning team. Considering Yu-mi’s lack of efficiency, the board confronts her with the situation. Na-eon and Eun-ho share a passionate kiss.
The implications of the story continue to be really strange, just like they were in the episodes that came before it. It would have been a possibility for the plot to be quite interesting if it did not have the supernatural element. On the other hand, when you learn that they have switched souls and are living in each other’s bodies, and eventually everything that this means, the plot transforms into something that is just creepy, given the events that take place and the way they develop.
That said, it seems like the characters have a wide range of emotions, particularly the principal characters, and the actors are quite good at playing the roles that they are assigned. On the other hand, considering the shortcomings of the story, it seems like their abilities in this regard are a waste.
