The identity of “Digestive Medicine” was revealed on the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer”!

During the February 11 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, eight new contestants stepped up to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.

In Round 1, “Digestive Medicine” and “Fire Extinguisher” faced off with a duet version of Park Won’s “all of my life.”

After watching their performance, several of the celebrity panelists guessed that Digestive Medicine was an idol. Lim Han Byul further narrowed down the pool by guessing that he was a foreign idol based on his pronunciation.

Although Digestive Medicine earned praise for his charming vocal tone, he ultimately lost the round to his opponent. The masked singer than remained on stage to perform a beautiful rendition of EXO’s Baekhyun’s ballad “My Love” (from the soundtrack of the hit drama “Dr. Romantic 2”).

Halfway through the song, Digestive Medicine took off her mask to reveal that he was none other than NCT and WayV member Ten.

 

After dancing a snippet of his upcoming solo debut track, which is set to be released on February 13, Ten was asked how he wound up coming to Korea to become an idol.

“My grandmother is a fan of Super Junior,” explained Ten, “so she kept telling me to audition for SM. I tried out at the global audition, and then I became a trainee. But these days, my grandmother keeps asking me, ‘When are you coming home? I miss you.’”
