MBC’s new drama “Tomorrow” is off to a record-breaking start!
On April 1, SF9’s Rowoon and Kim Hee Sun’s new fantasy drama “Tomorrow” achieved the highest premiere ratings of any Friday-Saturday drama in MBC history.
According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Tomorrow” scored average ratings of 7.6 percent nationwide and 8.2 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, making it the most-watched premiere of any MBC Friday-Saturday drama to date. The drama also premiered at the top of its time slot, taking first place across all channels.
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Tomorrow” stars Rowoon as Choi Joon Woong, a young man who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. As a result, he crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On), who work together to save the lives of those who are contemplating suicide, and he winds up joining their team in the underworld as their youngest member.
