MBC’s “Tomorrow” has shared a sneak peek of the second episode!
Warning: mention of individuals contemplating suicide.
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Tomorrow”” is a new fantasy drama starring SF9‘s Rowoon as Choi Joon Woong, who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. As a result, he crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On), who work together to save the lives of those who are contemplating suicide, and he winds up joining their team in the underworld as their youngest member.
“Tomorrow” achieved the highest premiere ratings of any Friday-Saturday drama in MBC history. In the first episode, Choi Joon Woong unexpectedly fell into a coma and was given a choice: wake up three years later or work for Joomadeung and wake up only after six months. Choi Joon Woong accepted the job offer, and his first assignment as a member of the Crisis Management Team was a young woman named Noh Eun Bi (Jo In). Towards the end of the episode, Goo Ryun and Choi Joon Woong entered her memory where they confirmed she was a victim of school bullying.
With curiosity mounting over what will happen next, the drama released new stills that show Goo Ryun and Noh Eun Bi facing each other in a precarious situation. Noh Eun Bi is just moments away from jumping off a building. Despite the frigid tension in the air, Goo Ryun remains cool and calm. On the other hand, Noh Eun Bi is shedding tears of resentment, as if she is expressing the pain she has suffered alone for a long time.
The preview for the second episode showed that the person who committed school violence against Noh Eun Bi was none other than Kim Hye Won (Kim Chae Won), the author of the webtoon series “Boksoon.” When Noh Eun Bi was about to jump off, Goo Ryun coldly warned her, “If you think the answer is dying, then go ahead and die. I’ll send you to the most horrible hell.”
To find out if the Crisis Management Team will be able to help Noh Eun Bi, tune in to the next episode that airs on April 2 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
