Episode 11 of Knight Flower begins with Su-ho fully waking up and getting flustered for touching Yeo-hwa’s face. Back home, Yeon-sun informs Yeo-hwa that Pil has arrived and she eavesdrops on him telling Seok that Im Kang’s son is Su-ho.
They realise that someone is eavesdropping and the whole house is in uproar as Yeo-hwa runs in her masked disguise. She hides in the shrine but Jeong sees her masked outfit. He pretends that everything is fine and simply comments that she has a lot of secrets.
Bi-chan is sent to tail Pil but Man-sik beats him up. Meanwhile, Pil plans to take down Su-ho and the Masked Man together. Seok wants to keep the invasion quiet but Hwang and Su-ho show up and insist on investigating. Jeong shows up and Su-ho is shocked that he is Yeo-hwa’s husband. Jeong asks him to meet at Myungdo which has the officer further confused.
Next, Yeo-hwa is daydreaming about Su-ho when Jeong asks her out. He keeps teasing her with nicknames till he settles on “honey” to which she gives in. She refuses to go out with him but when he says he is visiting Myungdo, she accompanies him.
Of course, this leads to an awkward reunion at Myungdo with Jang taking away Yoon-hak and Yeo-hwa to talk about Pil. This leaves Su-ho with Jeong who calls Yeo-hwa suspicious. Su-ho instantly jumps to her defence and Jeong is amused. He then gets serious and asks if Su-ho likes Yeo-hwa as his lover or as a masked vigilante. Su-ho tells him to learn about her before judging her.
Su-ho rushes and tells Yeo-hwa about Jeong knowing the truth but she is amused as he should be worrying over Pil than Jeong. While waiting outside, Hwal-yoo and Ggotnim sing praises of the Masked Man being a Robin Hood for the poor which has Jeong impressed. As they head home, he calls the Masked Man cool and hopes he is not caught which surprises Yeo-hwa.
At the palace, the King announces a tea party for Jeong’s return. Seok wants to refuse but the King insists on bringing the whole family. At the bureau, Yi-kyung worries about Bi-chan and even brings him snacks. Hwang wants the food and is confused when she says it is for Bi-chan.
While Jeong makes an excuse for Yeo-hwa to sneak out that night, Pil kidnaps Jang and threatens Su-ho who arrives alone. But before he can surrender, Yeo-hwa shows up and distracts them by throwing a stone. Hwang brings the reinforcements and arrests Pil. However, Su-ho is upset that Yeo-hwa put herself in danger but it turns out she accosted Bi-chan till he told her about the kidnapping.
At that moment, the King orders for Lady Oh’s arrest but she goes missing which Seok finds hilarious. The tea party takes place with Yoon-hak present as well. Meanwhile, Su-ho breaks Pil by threatening to kill him to avenge his family.
Seok’s composure breaks as the King invites Lady Oh to the tea party. She apologises for her misgivings and offers them the poisoned tea as a truce, claiming that Seok ordered her to give it to the late King. As a gift, the King orders Jeong to drink it, hoping Seok won’t let his son die.
However, Seok calls his bluff which has everyone nervous. In the end, Yeo-hwa and the King lose the game and stop Jeong from drinking the poisoned tea. Angered by Seok’s apathy, Oh confesses to everything and drinks the tea herself to prove it. As she dies, she tells Yeo-hwa that Seok killed her brother, Soong-ho.
In the Knight Flower Episode 11 Epilogue, after arresting Pil, Su-ho asks Yeo-hwa about her plans after they take down Seok. While she is unsure, he wants to spend his life with her.
Phew, Knight Flower Episode 11 shows us that Seok is no raggedy villain. He is not one to mess with. Bet he was laughing internally when the King ordered Jeong to drink the poison. Your Highness, Seok tried to kill the same son just a week ago, this is child’s play.
But why does Lady Oh have to die? I mean, sure for her sins, but story-wise it does not make sense, they can just order Seok to drink the poison. If he drinks, he dies, if he refuses, he proves that it is poison. While the first half of the episode was fun and chaotic, the tea party segment was chaotic in a poor sense. Hope the finale is executed with a little more smoothness.
By the way, anyone else notice them teasing Honey Lee? The actress who plays Yeo-hwa. Jeong calling her honey in English and her going with the flow was super entertaining and adorable. If Su-ho wasn’t in the picture, who knows maybe we could get an annoyance-to-lovers trope from this fake married couple.
