Doctor Slump (2024) K Drama Episode 10 with Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Shik

From being well-accomplished experts in their respective fields to forgetting who they truly are, Ha-neul and Jeong-woo have come a long way. Now, being in the seemingly familiar environment of a surgery room, the two have doubts but are finding ways to move forward. With Ha-neul present, Jeong-woo is finally able to complete the procedure this time, but he is not happy about her being there.

He immediately questions Dae-young about Ha-neul’s presence and finds out that she requested this after finding out how his PTSD has been affecting his work. Jeong-woo is not happy about this and tells Dae-young that he feels as anxious as someone who has picked the scalpel for the first time.

Ha-neul is surprised to hear him say that it is unfair to others around him and that it is not right to receive Ha-neul’s help like this. She tries to fight back saying that he was the one who told her to come back whenever but Jeong-woo counters that he didn’t mean it in this way. The discussion is interrupted when their high school teacher drops by for a visit.

He is surprised to see them together but tells how he came to support Jeong-woo after finding out that he is working here after the case. He then takes them out for lunch and Dae-young tags along. There he begins to recall the kind of students the two were back in the day and how Ha-neul even ate chillies to keep herself awake.

The incident takes them down memory lane as Jeong-woo remembers how he saw Ha-neul struggling with stomach aches due to the chillies and found a way to stop her from eating them. However, the two are still quarrelling to this day which only makes Dae-young and the teacher sympathise with each other.

Following the lunch, Jeong-woo pulls Ha-neul aside and tells her that he never ate the chillies like he had claimed back then but made up a reason for her to stop. He tells her that when he can worry about her during their rivalry days, then she can imagine just how worried he would be about her now.

He knows that she never thought about working at a clinic like this and is only doing it for him which is only making things hard for him as he never knew why they broke up and now her actions are only making him more confused. To him, she is selfish right now and cannot see her working there for him.

With this, he walks away while Ha-neul understands his point of view. Later, Ba-da tells her that Jeong-woo must have returned as the lights upstairs are on, but Ha-neul is disappointed when she sees Dae-young upstairs. The next day, Hong-ran has to pick up her son due to an emergency and is now struggling to look for help babysitting him, right then, Dae-young offers to help her.

Later, she gets a call from a colleague who tells her about Kyung-min’s wedding and tells her about what Ha-neul did to him the last time and the reason behind the same. Hong-ran is shocked Jeong-woo overhears this and asks her to elaborate. He then rushes to Kyung-min and confronts him about the same.

However, Kyung-min sticks to his words and tells him that it is Ha-neul who is lying which angers Jeong-woo and he ends up punching him. The two get in a brawl after which Jeong-woo leaves from there. Meanwhile, Ha-neul begins to understand the small changes her mother has made to help her uplift her mood.

She begins to understand this because of Jeong-woo and understands that helping someone while being subtle is better than forcing help onto someone. She then makes her way to the rooftop and calls Jeong-woo to ask him to meet her. He tells her that he is already here and Ha-neul lifts her head to see him arrive in front of her.

Ha-neul sees that he is injured and hurries to treat him but all he does is hug her and apologise to her for not knowing anything. He tells her that he missed her dearly which is why he said those mean words to her the other day. He was heartbroken when she asked to break up with him and it made him think that he was not good enough for her which only got worse when his hand started trembling when lifting a scalpel.

All these things made him say those words to her and he is sorry for that. Ha-neul hears him and tells him that he was the one who helped her realise that there is a life outside the hospital and he too needs to know that he is an incredible person outside the clinic. Jeong-woo then asks if she has something to say to him that made her call.

She tells him that she has prepared something for them and takes him to go clubbing. This shocks Jeong-woo as he doesn’t expect this from Ha-neul when she tells him to let loose and have fun with her. Jeong-woo is influenced by Ha-neul and the ambience and begins to have fun. Later, when someone tries to hit on Ha-neul he tells them that he is her ex-boyfriend but says the word “ex” as low as possible.

The two have fun and later Ha-neul tells him that while he was helping her have by having fun in life, all she did was try to forcefully encourage him out of his PTSD. And, it is because she saw herself in him she thought that working together at the clinic would help them both get through their conditions together.

This clears the air between the two and when they return home, Ha-neul reveals to him that their teacher visited to get help from Jeong-woo. He has a lump on his back and wants Jeong-woo’s help but he overheard some people talk about Jeong-woo’s PTSD at the clinic which is why he didn’t tell him anything.

Ha-neul asks him if he wants to be part of their teacher’s surgery and Jeong-woo accepts it. Plus, if Ha-neul thinks that they can get through their trauma together then he cannot find a better reason to get through this trauma than her. The next day, their teacher returns for the surgery and Jeong-woo successfully performs the procedure.

Later, Dae-young takes everyone out to celebrate this moment and whines when he sees all his staff preferring Jeong-woo. Ha-neul begins to get jealous when the female staff subtly flirt with Jeong-woo but is reassured by Jeong-woo. Later, Hong-ran arrives outside to meet her and confronts about Kyung-min’s deeds.

Ha-neul is surprised but is happy to see the support her friend is giving to her. Hong-ran then reveals that she is already satisfied as Jeong-woo already fought with Kyung-min which surprises Ha-neul. She is once again touched by Jeong-woo’s actions but is unable to say anything other than ask if he punched the other person more than he was punched.

Later, during a game when Ha-neul tells that she is single, Jeong-woo questions her and asks why she did not reveal their relationship. She refutes that he too denied answering the question about his latest kiss. The two then recall the kiss they shared the previous day when Ha-neul was tending to his wounds and the scene shifts to the two sharing a kiss in the present.

Jeong-woo then tells her that this has confirmed that she is in a relationship and she cannot go back on her words again.

The Jeong-Ha couple’s kiss scene is finally here and has satisfied all viewers as this green couple finally takes another step in their relationship. And just like always, Ha-neul sees another growth in herself while Jeong-woo shows that he has been a green flag since their school days.

The Jeong-Ha couple is surely becoming a manual on how to be a green-flag couple and healing our hearts with their slow growth each week. The show is definitely outdoing itself every week with its plot and keeping viewers engaged while the actors’ performances are winning hearts each week.

Even the supporting characters are making us smile and adding a cherry on this cake which is making our hearts warm every weekend. Altogether, the show is only getting better each week and leaving us smiling because of the perfect combination of actors, characters and plot.
