“Why Her?” Heads Into 2nd Half Of Its Run On No. 1 Ratings As “Doctor Lawyer” Rises

SBS’s “Why Her?” kicked off the second half of its run at No. 1!

On July 1, the mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop defended its position at the top of its time slot—and successfully remained the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the evening. According to Nielsen Korea, the ninth episode of “Why Her?” scored an average nationwide rating of 8.7 percent.

“Why Her?” also took first place in its time slot across all channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 3.1 percent.

Meanwhile, MBC’s “Doctor Lawyer” headed into the second half of its own run on an increase in viewership. The ninth episode of the drama starring So Ji Sub and Im Soo Hyang, which airs in the same time slot as “Why Her?”, scored an average nationwide rating of 6.3 percent.
