The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from June 3 to July 3.
SBS’s “Running Man” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,148,698, marking a 13.91 percent increase in its score since June. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Yoo Jae Suk,” “Kim Jong Kook,” and “Jo Se Ho,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “appear,” “confess,” and “reveal.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 81.69 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, MBC’s “How Do You Play?” came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 4,084,398 for July.
SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” took third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 3,938,668, marking a 17.49 percent rise in its score since last month.
Finally, MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) and “Radio Star” rounded out the top five for July at fourth and fifth places respectively.
