Playlist Studio’s upcoming web drama “Peng” has released a new teaser!
“Peng” stars Yoon So Hee as Go Sa Ri, a woman entering her 30s who suddenly becomes entangled with four different men. After living a sheltered decade in her 20s, Go Sa Ri decides to start over, which means inviting in any man who enters, and letting go of any man who chooses to leave.
The new teaser starts at Go Sa Ri’s extravagant 30th birthday party. She states, “I used to think that at 30, I’d have adequate success and adequate youth. Right at that point, wouldn’t I have become an impressive, shining adult?”
However, this truly turns out to be just a dream: in real life, she is introduced as an adult child with a hot temper and avoidance issues who is always in a rush. What’s changed from her sheltered 20s is that she’s decided to live more recklessly in her 30s. That’s why after work, Go Sa Ri heads straight to the nightclubs and enjoys her time with friends.
Later, Go Sa Ri’s friend Ye Soo Won (Baek Soo Hee) tells her, “I’m looking at your fortune now and it looks like you’ll get really tangled up with men this year.” Just like that, men start entering Go Sa Ri’s life like dominos, starting with Pi Jung Won (Choi Won Myung), her guy friend of 25 years. Her friend asks him, “You don’t think Go Sa Ri coming back means she’s coming back to you, right?” He responds longingly, “Even if it’s been 25 years, Sa Ri and I are just friends.”
Next is her boss Ki Sun Jae (Joo Woo Jae), who sends her flowers and tells her, “I came today not as your boss, but just to see you.” She also reunites with her ex-boyfriend Jeon Woo Sang (Lee Seung Il) who insists, “There’s 10 years between us. Just because we broke up, do all the memories disappear?” Last is Yeon Ha Rim (Kim Hyun Jin), a younger man who doesn’t waste any time in being intimate.
As her entanglement with these four men grows bigger and bigger, Go Sa Ri finds herself stuck in the middle. Sounding exhausted, she comments, “Part two of my life is really a spectacle.”
Watch the teaser below with English subtitles! Catch the premiere of “Peng” on October 7 at 7 p.m. KST, which will also be available on Dramacool.
