SBS’s “Universe League” has unveiled its first look at all of its contestants!
On October 14, SBS announced that the global boy group audition program “Universe League” will premiere on November 22.
“Universe League” is the second season and male version of “Universe Ticket”—the audition program that recently gave rise to the new girl group UNIS. “Universe League” aims to distinguish itself entirely from “Universe Ticket” by focusing on group-based competitions rather than individual ones. Three teams—Rhythm, Groove, and Beat—will engage in fierce survival battles for the ultimate prize, the “Prism Cup.” Three representative K-pop artists will serve as coaches for each team, selecting members and competing against one another.
The newly released teaser showcases the unique concept of “Universe League,” which blends K-pop with sports elements. The trailer introduces the 42 contestants participating in the dream match and also features the teams’ flags as well as the Prism Cup. While there are no detailed information about the contestants yet, their charming visuals have already raised K-pop fans’ expectations for the global boy group that “Universe League” will create.
Furthermore, the narration by MC Jay Park throughout the video adds to the excitement. He describes the show with a confident and powerful voice that further heightens anticipation for the show.
