Jeon Do Yeon’s upcoming film “Kill Boksoon” has released a new poster and final trailer!
Netflix’s “Kill Boksoon” is an action film about the hitman industry’s legendary killer Gil Bok Soon (Jeon Do Yeon). Right before she’s scheduled to renew her contract with the company she works for, she gets swept up in an inevitable confrontation where she has no choice but to kill or be killed.
The daunting third poster for “Kill Boksoon” features all the film’s lead characters who are intertwined in a gruesome web of bloody knives and guns. Jeon Do Yeon leads the group as Gil Bok Soon, a killer and a single mom. Beside her is Sol Kyung Gu as Cha Min Gyu, the charismatic CEO of MK Ent. where Gil Bok Soon is employed.
Below Gil Bok Soon is her young daughter Gil Jae Young (Kim Si Ah). Also pictured in the poster are Cha Min Hee (Esom), Cha Min Gyu’s younger sister and the director of MK Ent., as well as Han Hee Sung (Goo Kyo Hwan), one of Gil Bok Soon’s fellow MK Ent. killers. On the poster it reads, “I will hide it until I die, and if I can’t hide it, I will kill.”
The film’s latest trailer showcases the dramatic life of killer Gil Bok Soon who is dedicated to her work but must do everything she can to hide the truth from everyone else.
At the start of the clip, MK Ent.’s CEO Cha Min Gyu explains, “There is the old saying, ‘One murder will save you three times the amount of patience.'” He adds, “Those of us who have gathered here today are professionals who will put that saying into practice.” Cha Min Gyu proudly elaborates, “Murder has now become a global business and we’ve received the respect we deserve.”
Despite her boss’s confidence, this work is much more complicated to Gil Bok Soon. While at a gathering with the mothers of her daughter’s classmates, Gil Bok Soon is asked why their family didn’t travel for summer vacation. With a shy smile, Gil Bok Soon casually lies, “Oh! I was on a business trip then.”
Eventually, Gil Bok Soon is caught by her daughter who confesses, “I’ve seen a gun in your bag before.” Given how dangerous the situation has become, Gil Bok Soon tells Cha Min Gyu, “I may quit once my contract’s up.”
Han Hee Sung suggests to Gil Bok Soon with a giggle, “Tell the company the truth. Or kill them.” Min Hee states simply, “The easiest way to solve a problem is to get rid of the problem.” Gil Bok Soon calmly asks, “Are you going to kill me?”
