Watch: Jang Nara And Jang Hyuk Are Not Your Ordinary “Family” In Upcoming Spy Comedy Drama Teaser

tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Family” has unveiled a new teaser!

“Family” tells the story of a National Intelligence Service (NIS) black agent husband who is undercover as an ordinary office worker and a sweet but fierce wife who dreams of having a perfect family. The drama is helmed by executive producer Jang Jung Do, whose hit works include “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” “The Crowned Clown,” “Our Blues,” “Alchemy of Souls,” and more. “Family” also marks the fourth project led by Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara as well as their first collaboration in nine years.

Jang Hyuk will be starring as Kwon Do Hoon, Kang Yu Ra’s husband who is an NIS black agent disguised as a trading company employee. Despite being a charismatic and slightly intimidating agent, Kwon Do Hoon is a loving and romantic husband at home. Jang Nara will be playing Kang Yu Ra, a housekeeping expert and Kwon Do Hoon’s wife. While she’s a dedicated wife who works to protect the perfect family of her dreams, she hides a secret behind her lovable nature.

The newly released teaser begins with NIS agent “codename 404” Kwon Do Hoon charismatically carrying out a mission, raising tension with fierce fighting and action inside a bus.

However, the atmosphere quickly changes with the introduction of Kwon Do Hoon’s wife Kang Yu Ra. Even as Kwon Do Hoon unexpectedly clings on to Kang Yu Ra’s moving car door, Kang Yu Ra continues to drive on nonchalantly.

The teaser also depicts Kwon Do Hoon and Kang Yu Ra’s family members including Kwon Woong Soo (Lee Soon Jae), who impressively does turns on a metal bar despite getting on the years, Kwon Min Seo (Shin Soo Ah), who is acting energetically as always, and couple Kwon Ji Hoon (Kim Kang Min) and Lee Mi Rim (Yoon Sang Jung).

The text, “Our family’s story, which is more secretive and more intense than a secret agent,” appears on screen as Kwon Do Hoon narrates, “This is the power of family,” further raising anticipation for the family’s intriguing double life.
