Watch: Ahn Hyo Seop Keeps Kim Sejeong Laughing With His Impressive Comedic Timing While Filming “A Business Proposal”

“A Business Proposal” has shared a look at their cast’s close friendship and impressive improvisation timing in a new making video!

Based on a popular web novel that has been adapted into a webtoon, “A Business Proposal” is a romantic comedy about an office employee who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO in place of a friend while hiding her identity. Ahn Hyo Seop stars as chaebol heir Kang Tae Mu, who has everything from looks and brains to wealth and business savvy. Kim Sejeong stars as food researcher Shin Ha Ri, who stands in for her best friend and chaebol heiress Jin Young Seo (Seol In Ah) at a blind date with Kang Tae Mu.

The new making video starts with the funny double date between Kang Tae Mu, Shin Ha Ri, Jin Young Seo, and Cha Sung Hoon (Kim Min Kyu). The cast shows off their adorable friendship as they have tons of fun over something as simple as opening a safe.

After, the four actors gather for their meal scene. Kim Sejeong comments, “This image of the four of us together is rare. Please capture it lots.”

As they film the part where Shin Ha Ri spills soda on Kang Tae Mu and ruins his shirt, Ahn Hyo Seop makes everyone crack up as he randomly improvises, “I can just switch [clothes] with Sung Hoon.” Seol In Ah chimes in, “He quietly prepared this!”

Eventually, Shin Ha Ri takes Kang Tae Mu to her house so that he can change. Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong rehearse the scene where he jokingly insists on changing in front of her and he hilariously comments on his exaggerated gestures, “I’m confused about whether this is acting or not.”

Later, Kim Sejeong personally films Ahn Hyo Seop and asks whether he’s confident about going shirtless on camera. He answers, “Everyone’s standards are different.” When asked if he’s satisfied, Ahn Hyo Seop replies, “I love myself. Ha Ri must feel regretful.” Kim Sejeong agrees, and Ahn Hyo Seop comments, “It’s okay, in the finale anyways…” before he’s censored for spoilers.

At night, Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyo Seop film the scene where they get caught by her brother Shin Ha Min (VICTON’s Byungchan). Kim Sejeong bursts into laughter at Ahn Hyo Seop’s funny improvisation, but he continues with it during filming. While Kim Sejeong tries her best to hold in her giggles, the director starts laughing instead. Kim Sejeong and Byungchan explain that it’s an improvisation that Ahn Hyo Seop diligently prepared, making the director respond, “Live out your dreams!”
