Less than a week after its release, Stray Kids’ new album has already sold over 4 million copies!
Last week, Stray Kids made their highly-anticipated comeback with their third full-length album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)“—and by the end of June 2, it had already sold over 2.3 million copies, smashing Stray Kids’ previous first-week sales record of approximately 2.1 million (set by “MAXIDENT“) in just one day.
On June 8 KST, Hanteo Chart reported that by the end of June 7 (the sixth day of its release), “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” had sold an amazing total of 4,124,849 copies.
Notably, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” is only the second album in Hanteo history to sell over 4 million copies within the first week of its release. The only other album to achieve the feat to date is SEVENTEEN‘s latest mini album “FML.”
With one day still left to go before the end of the week, it remains to be seen just how much higher Stray Kids’ first-week sales record will climb.
Congratulations to Stray Kids on their incredible achievement!
