Once again, FIFTY FIFTY has made Billboard history with their viral hit “Cupid”!
On June 6 local time, Billboard revealed that “Cupid” had risen to a new peak of No. 18 in its fourth week on its Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.
FIFTY FIFTY is now the first female K-pop artist ever to enter the top 20 of Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart—and only the second K-pop group in history to achieve the feat (following BTS).
“Cupid” also extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop girl group song on Billboard’s Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States. In its 11th consecutive week on the chart, “Cupid” stayed strong at No. 23.
Additionally, “Cupid” swept the No. 2 spot on both Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and World Digital Song Sales chart this week. The song also held onto its spot at No. 3 in its 12th week on the Global 200 and climbed back up to No. 44 on the main Digital Song Sales chart.
Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY rose to No. 60 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week, making them only the sixth K-pop girl group ever to spend five weeks on the chart (following BLACKPINK, TWICE, ITZY, aespa, and LE SSERAFIM).
Congratulations to FIFTY FIFTY!
