Park Bo Young is a South Korean actress under BH Entertainment. She was born in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province. Bo Young made her debut with the short movie "Equal" which her video production club made when Bo Young was in middle school. The short movie won the Challenging Reality Award at the 7th Seoul International Youth Film Festival in 2005. Bo Young made her acting debut when she was 16-years old in the 2006 drama "Secret Campus". She won the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actress and the Popularity Award (Female) for her role in the 2008 movie "Scandal Makers". Bo Young graduated from Dankook University's Department of Performing Arts with a major in Theatre and Film. She plays the piano and guitar. Bo Young’s father served as a soldier in the Special Forces for 34 years.
A legal dispute with her management agency kept Bo Young away from acting for several years and made her return in 2012. Bo Young starring role in the hit film “A Werewolf Boy” (2012) reestablished her as a major star.
