Lee Geum Hee is a South Korean broadcaster and TV personality. She graduated from Dongmyeong Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Information and Broadcasting, both from Sookmyung Women's University and a master's degree in Broadcasting from Yonsei University.
She made her debut in 1989 after passing the 16th open recruitment for announcers at KBS. In 1987, she tried to enter KBS and MBC but failed both tests and opted to accept a special recruitment as a radio reporter but quit after 4 months out of exhaustion. She has worked for many years as a radio and TV host for many shows, and it is widely known as one of the best in the business. She also worked as an adjunct professor at her alma mater for 22 years before deciding to enter the Ph.D. program and is now entering the entertainment industry, appearing in several variety shows while still working as a freelance announcer.
