Lee Ha Nee is a South Korean actress. She was Miss Korea of 2006 and the 3rd runner-up for Miss Universe in 2007 in Mexico City. Her mother has a Ph.D. in Korean Music History and is a professor at Ewha Woman's University. Her father was a high-ranking official in the National Intelligence Service. She used to be an Idol trainee under YG Entertainment.In 2008, she made her acting debut in the musical Polaroid.
Lee Ha Nee, also called "Honey Lee" by the Western press, is also a musician and gayageum player. In 2011, she received Best New Actress in a drama for her role in "Iron Daughters-in-Law" at the MBC Drama Awards. Lee has been actively involved in voluntary work for several organizations such as UNICEF, Compassion, and World Vision. She serves as the Goodwill Ambassador for Beauty Mind Charity and Korea Green Foundation. In 2011, Lee was cast in her first big-screen role in the action film, Hit.
On November 8, 2021, it was confirmed that she is dating a non-celebrity. On December 21, 2021, Saram Entertainment confirmed that Lee has married her non-celebrity boyfriend. She announced her pregnancy on January 16, 2022. On June 20, 2022 gave birth to a baby girl.
