Hyun Young Min is a retired South Korean football player. He started his career at Ulsan Hyundai in 2002 and stayed with the team for 3 years.In 2006, Russian club Rubin Kazan tried to sign him, but he refused to play outside Saint Petersburg and Moscow, so, Zenit Saint Petersburg signed him. In 2007, he returned to Ulsan Hyundai sending 2 years with the team. In 2009, he was traded to FC Seoul where he played until 2013. After a brief time at Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, he arrived at Jeonnam Dragons in 2014 and remained there until his retirement in 2017. He also played for the South Korea national football team and went to the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
He worked as football commentator for SPOTV and MBC in 2018 and for JTBC from 2019 until 2021. In late 2021, he signed a contract with DH Entertainment.
