Kim Young Ji, currently known professionally by her given name, Young Ji, is a South Korea singer. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Music from Dong-A University. She made her debut in 2003 as the maknae of girl group "Bubble Sisters". The group was quite controversial in the West as the 4 members appeared in their first and only album with blackface and in South Korea they were criticized for their physical appearance and their overall look.
In 2005, the group disbanded before bringing new members some years later, but Young Ji was no longer involved with the group and her career stalled. She attempted a comeback in 2014 appearing several times in "Immortal Songs; Singing the Legend" but was mostly unsuccessful until trot singer Jang Yun Jung convinced her to switch to trot music. She participated in "Miss Trot 2" and in 2021 released a digital single and her career seems to be on the rise.
