“SKY Castle” Continues Impressive Growth And Achieves Personal Best In Viewership Ratings

JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “SKY Castle” continues to pull viewers in with its shocking twists!

The eighth episode that aired on December 15 achieved an average viewership rating of 9.5 percent nationwide according to Nielsen Korea. This is a new high for the drama, which began at a mere 1.5 percent for the first episode but has significantly increased in popularity over the past few weeks.
The JTBC drama tells the story of the people living in a luxury apartment building in suburban Seoul where ambitious women try to get their children admitted into prestigious universities. The young cast members have especially been gaining a lot of attention for their excellent portrayals of the complicated lives of children and teenagers growing up in a high-pressure environment.
In the most recent episode, viewers were shocked to discover the secret behind Kim Hae Na’s (Kim Bo Ra) birth. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience to expect shocking developments in the upcoming episodes.
“SKY Castle” airs every Friday and Saturday at 11 p.m. KST.
