IZ*ONE’s Kwon Eun Bi Talks About Her Relationship With Girl’s Day’s Hyeri On “Amazing Saturday”

On the December 15 episode of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday,” IZ*ONE’s Kwon Eun Bi and Ahn Yu Jin appeared as guests.

During their introduction on the show, the cast was shocked at Ahn Yu Jin’s age. The idol was born in 2003, making her the youngest guest to ever appear on “Amazing Saturday.”
Kwon Eun Bi, who is 8 years older than her groupmate, said, “I feel a generation gap sometimes. There’s a really famous song by Brown Eyes that came out in 2001, but she doesn’t know it.”

MC Boom then commented, “Kwon Eun Bi has known Girl’s Day’s Hyeri for a long time, right?”
Kwon Eun Bi said, “When I was 17, I was a backup dancer and performed with Girl’s Day. Hyeri and I are one year apart in age and we went to the same high school, so that’s how I got to know her.”
Hyeri said, “We promoted together a lot and shared many stories with each other. One day, she came to me and said, ‘Unni, I want to become a singer.’ In my heart, I was worried because I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I told her to work hard. Then all of a sudden, on ‘Produce’…”
The show then showed a clip from “Produce 48” when Kwon Eun Bi impressed the other trainees with her powerful dance skills.
“I knew it was her right away,” Hyeri concluded.
“Amazing Saturday” airs every Saturday at 7:40 p.m. KST.
