The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 9 reveals the big surprise Na and Tofu had been planning for Nut. We get to see Na offer a rainbow pattern cake. In a flashback, it is revealed how Sib detested Nut’s choice to have a rainbow pattern kid when he was younger and, during his school years had taunted him for taking part in baking activities with his mother. In the present day, Na and Nut resolve their upset bond as Na confesses that no matter what Nut has never been a mistake in her life and is rather a gift.

Prib visits Nut on his birthday eve, gifting him a teddy bear similar to how Tofu was when he was a teddy bear. She confesses her feelings for Nut but is rejected along with her teddy bear gift. She approaches Song and Gen and, cries her heart out to them. Meanwhile, Tofu and Nut’s relationship takes a more romantic turn as Nut asks Tofu to stay the night with him. This leads to a cute and romantic shower the two have the next morning. In the office, Prib declares that she is heartbroken yet again. But she is determined to help Tarn find his person.

We see Na becoming forgetful. Tofu is worried and talks to the living furniture about Na’s condition but, they too are drowsy and don’t respond well. In Nut’s bedroom Tofu gets to know from the other furniture how at times furniture go to sleep and never wake up, such as Sib’s chair. A worried Tofu asks Prib about the teddy bear she had gotten for Nut, scared that if he does not find the person who gifted Nut the teddy bear, he would too go to sleep and not wake up. He visits the place he believes Nut got his teddy bear from.

Meanwhile, in the office, the team scours through location pictures for shooting when a particular picture triggers Nut. It is the same place we have previously seen Tofu at. Tofu calls Nut right and then asks to visit him at the location. Nut is visibly disturbed at the location and, does not go in. A flashback reveals how he had seen the teddy bear there for the first time with Tarn and, Sib had caught Nut and Tarn roaming about. Tofu understands that the location has something to do with Nut’s ex and does not push it.

While leaving together, holding hands after shopping, Tofu and Nut are confronted by Jan who tries to insult Nut for being gay. Nut replies back and, is followed by Tofu’s innocent yet savage remarks. At home, Tofu gives Nut the courage to own up to his sexuality and not feel targeted or afraid. The next day Tofu and Nut do their laundry together, playfully. Na watches them and smiles.

On the other hand, Anik cancels his plans with Song to tend to Tarn’s case. Song is angry and upset with his father’s neglectful behaviour and confides in Gen, who tries to make him understand that Anik has time-consuming work. Gen’s mother chimes in to explain to Song how parents always love their kids equally and he should not be heartbroken about his father’s absence.

Tofu tries to find out who Nut’s ex was and, his only lead is the letter “T” inscribed on one of the books Tarn gifted Nut. Tofu reads Nut’s script and visits shooting to try to figure out the mystery person and, even gets an old picture of Neung’s basketball team. Meanwhile, things with Anik and Song get better after the former has a Tofu with Tofu and understands his neglect toward Song.

Final Thoughts: The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 9

Overall, The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 9 has cute aspects to it when you see the growth in Nut and Tofu as well as Gen and Song’s relationship. However, it is also painful to see Na losing her memory. The mystery aspect seems to be back a little with Nut and Tarn’s story coming to light, even though the accident’s details stay hidden.
