The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 8 opens with Tofu finally back with Nut and Na. We see Na full of joy when she sees Tofu and, asks him to not leave ever. Nut, leaving for office then chimes in for Tofu to say forever in a sarcastic as well as loving tone. Back in the office, Prib gets to know about Nut and Tofu’s situation from Gen and, is upset when she sees Nut smiling all the way while entering the office. To add to that, Gen inquires Nut if he has solved his issues with Tofu but, gets teased back about Song. Back in the house, the objects fight among themselves as Tofu holds witness to the chaos.

Meanwhile, we see Jan getting ready for a special occasion, presumably. But, Saen comes in and rains on her parade stating that he knows that she has had him followed since the two separated. Jan loses control and shouts at Saen for not loving her and, Saen barks back saying that he would have been with Na, if he knew marrying him was one of Jan’s schemes. An angry Jan heads over to Na’s house and gets violent with her as she forces her to look through Saen and Jan’s wedding pictures. Jan screams and shouts at Na with detest.

Although Tofu and Nut enter the scene, it is too late as Na falls sick and faints. Na is taken to the hospital where Nut confronts Saen about what exactly had happened that Na and Saen did not end up marrying. Saen recounts as the audiences get a flashback of how Jan had schemed things to drive Saen and Na apart along with Sib, who had taken the opportunity to grow close to a helpless Na. After the story, we see Nut and Tofu taking a walk and talking about the choices the elders had made which ended with Nut thanking Tofu for being there for him.

Before leaving the hospital Na asks Nut to take him to their old house. Na visits the old house and tries to regain her memories which bring back both the good, the bad and the ugly ones. A crying Na hugs Tofu and regrets her choices. When the trio return home, Nut is visibly upset as he confides in Tofu that he feels like a mistake Na and Sib made because Na had always been in love with Saen. Meanwhile, Jan drowns herself in alcohol and, thinks of how Saen never was able to love her.

Soon an agitated Saen enters and asks Jan about the details of the man she had hired to follow him. However, Jan turns the table as she reveals that she knows that Saen was present at the scene of Tarn’s accident which is enough to incriminate him. Saen recalls his last conversation with Tarn and how things did not go well. Meanwhile, Anik is determined to catch the perpetrator and all the evidence point at Saen.

In Anik’s home, we see him interact with Song, who expresses how neglected he feels. Later, Song is joined by Gen while playing basket. The two sit and have a sweet conversation which gives another step to their relationship as Song hugs Gen by the end of it. On the other hand, an upset Nut is taken out by Tofu to go for a run. While talking to a mother-daughter duo who is out celebrating the daughter’s birthday, we get a flashback memory of Nut wanting Na to make him a rainbow cake. Later Nut asks Tofu what the latter is getting him but, Tofu reveals nothing and just says that he has a special gift for him.

Nut wants to express what he wants, but brushes it off. Prib, on the other hand, figures out what she wants to give Nut and, informs the same to Tofu which lands him in a troubling situation as he is unprepared with his gift. He talks to Na who reveals how Nut wanted a rainbow on his birthday cake when he was young but, it could never be fulfilled. Tofu gets an idea.

The next morning, on Nut’s birthday, he wakes up and looks around in his room for gifts but, finds none. He imagines Tofu wishing him a bouquet but, none of that happens. Instead, he has a dry day all day long. But, in the background we see Na and Tofu preparing a birthday cake for him with lots of love and fun and, that is how the eighth episode of The Miracle of Teddy Bear ends.

Final Thoughts: The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 8

The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 8 is really heartfelt and swoon-worthy. From Na and Saen’s flashbacks to Tofu and Nut as well as Song and Gen’s relationship, everything has a charm to it be it tragic or happy. Tofu and Na moments are surely the best thing the show has to offer and, there is a lot in this particular episode. Nut’s character growth is tremendous and, it is nice seeing him recognizing Tofu’s efforts as well as making efforts toward Tofu. However, the Tarn’s murder mystery seems too stretched at this point and some immediate progress on it is required.
