The Miracle of Teddy Bear’s second episode starts with Nut’s mother, Na cooking in the kitchen as Tofu sits by the dining table helping out. We are introduced to Saen, who is also helping her out in the kitchen and, she asks Tofu, her ‘little prince’ if he would like to have a meal with them in the garden. This is when Nut enters the scene and asks for his lunch as he is leaving for work. Na remarks that she and, Nut’s father (Saen) have cooked his favourite meal, which upsets Nut, who asks her to stop talking about his father and storms off.
A confused Tofu follows to open the gate for Nut’s departure when he is overwhelmed by the neighbours who shoot questions at him. Tofu reveals his name, says that he is Na’s caretaker and exits hurriedly. But, the neighbours- Jan, Nhong, Chu- are not satisfied with the answer, especially because Jan has been snooping around and has seen Tofu falling off the balcony naked as well as sneaking into Nut’s room late and making out. The neighbours try to come up with different explanations for the weird circumstances but, Jan is determined that something is surely up with Nut and Tofu, romantically.
We are spared the workplace harassment as Prib is on the day off and, Nut gets to stay more focused on work. However, as smooth as we’d like things to go, Nut struggles with his business proposal and heads home upset. Things go off the rails at home as he walks in on Na talking about Nut’s father to Tofu which makes Nut react angrily and remind his mother that his father is dead. In a quick flashback, we see that the events of the morning concerning Saen were not as they seemed and, Na has been talking to an imaginary figure in by her side when in reality there was no one.

An upset Nut enters his room and, cries. This is when Tofu starts to realize the drawbacks of being a human as Nut would often hold him and cry when he was a Teddy Bear but, that was no longer possible. When a new morning dawns, a new peril surfaces for Nut and Tofu, when Na goes missing. Nut clearly misbehaves with Tofu, which is hurtful and, even nosy Jan is taken aback by the behaviour. On his search for Na, Nut is unsuccessful. However, when Tofu tries to aid his search by saying that Na must have left for their old house (deducing this after talking about the furniture and household items), Nut dismisses the speculation.
Tofu prepares to go to Soi Butterfly, Na and Nut’s old home. Meanwhile, we see Na at their old place going through their old items and, reminiscing. Jan drives Tofu to the old house, where Tofu too regains memories from the time he was Nut’s teddy bear in the house. He soon finds Na and, they both sit down and talk. An emotional and hurt tells Tofu about how she met Saen for the first time and, wonders why Nut would never listen to her stories with his father. Soon enough Nut enters the scene and, takes the duo home.
As Na is unable to cook for the family Nut orders in. While taking the delivery from the valet, we see some sparks fly as Tofu seems interested in the delivery man. Maybe, we will get a trope on this later. But, as for some immediate romance, we see Tofu hug Nut, who is taken aback but, continues to shrug off Tofu’s efforts of being close to him and scold him. Later when Nut tends to Tofu’s wounds, he talks about his insecurities that Tofu will forget him once he gets back his memories but, immediately changes his sweet tone to sour and throws Tofu out of the room.

But, what essentially is more interesting in this episode is the case of Tatarn, who is in the hospital- now operated on and, unconscious. The accident is now a police investigation, who investigate Tatarn’s friend and, uncle- who turns out to be Nut’s father, Saen! The conclusion is that Tatarn is a man who doesn’t get involved in the conflict but, if there is a question of someone’s involvement in this accident, it could possibly be the company he is protesting against- TRD. But, we see TRD’s Ms. Kaew-ching-duang take responsibility for a handicapped Tatarn when interrogated, which could very well be a business move
Ms. Kaew-ching-duang’s interrogation ends with the officer-in-charge asking about Mr. Saen, to which Kaew replies that she was not aware until after the incident that Tatarn had an uncle. Reports on Kaew’s whereabouts also come clean as she was at a seminar during Tatarn’s accident. As for Mr. Saen, looks like he might be involved in Tatarn accident a little deeper than he led on as reports show his car following that of Tatarn on the day of the accident. We also find out that Tatarn and Tofu are somehow connected as when Tofu loses consciousness after getting dizzy, Tatarn momentarily wakes up in the hospital.
The Miracle of Teddy Bear episode 2 ends with Gen and Nut visiting Neung’s house, Nut’s high school friend and crush, where they realize that Neung and Tofu look absolutely identical. But, Neung’s whereabouts are unknown to the people leaving in his house, leaving us with no progress.

Well, this episode is way better than the previous one and, even though it remains mysterious and confusing, at least light is shed on certain things. Nonetheless, the toxicity in the show is too much to tolerate. Especially Nut’s disgraceful behaviour with his mother and Tofu is downright hurtful, when both these characters do nothing but, show him affection. His work-life stress of not providing content good enough is also a trigger for Nut’s mean and rude behaviour but, it does not justify putting Na through a mental breakdown episode and hurting Tofu, physically.
The confusing element is now slowly turning mysterious in The Miracle of Teddy Bear. We are yet to know Saen’s deal, how Neung and Tofu are identical and, of course, Tofu’s connection with Tatarn, all remain to be explored. The show might just be heading in the right way but, with one of the main characters being incorrigible, only time will tell if it can hold the audience’s attention.
