“My Dearest” And Its Stars Continue Reign Over Most Buzzworthy Drama And Actor Rankings 2023

 

Once again, MBC’s “My Dearest” swept the top spots on this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!

For the second week in a row, Part 2 of the hit historical romance drama ranked No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

In addition to topping the list of most buzzworthy dramas, “My Dearest” continued to dominate the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, where leads Ahn Eun Jin and Namgoong Min held onto their respective spots at No. 1 and No. 2. Lee Chung Ah also rose to No. 8 on this week’s list.

JTBC’s “Strong Girl Namsoon” maintained its position at No. 2 on the drama list, and its cast also claimed three spots on this week’s actor list: Lee Yoo Mi came in at No. 4, Kim Jung Eun at No. 5, and Kim Hae Sook at No. 7.

tvN’s “Twinkling Watermelon” rose to No. 3 on the drama list this week, with stars Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook ranking No. 9 and No. 10 respectively on the actor list.

SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven” climbed to No. 4 on this week’s drama list, followed by tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles 2” at No. 5 and MBC’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog” at No. 6.

Finally, tvN’s new drama “Castaway Diva” debuted on the list at No. 8.

The top 10 TV dramas that generated the most buzz this week are as follows:

While the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list also includes cast members from OTT shows—and the leads of Netflix’s new series “Doona!” both made this week’s top 10. Suzy entered the list at No. 3, while Yang Se Jong came in at No. 6.
