The episode opens up with Ji-won and Ji-hyuk kissing until the latter remembers his untimely death in his previous life and pushes Ji-won away. He is not ready to take away Ji-won’s happiness from her and being with him will result in Ji-won experiencing another loss in life. He pushes her out of his house and tries to be fixated on his choice to let her go.

The next day, Ji-won arrives at work but doesn’t see Ji-hyuk in his office. Meanwhile, Kyung-wook creates a ruckus by showing his superiority over Ju-ran, pretending that he is still the manager. Ji-won and Hee-yeon observe his behaviour and ask Ju-ran to take a stand as this is not beneficial for either her or the recruits.

Ju-ran agrees to their suggestion but gets a call from her husband who is causing trouble again. Ji-won overhears this and suggests that Ju-ran involve her parents in this matter so that she can get some relief. Ji-won then asks about Ji-hyuk and finds out that he has taken a day off due to bad health.

Upon coming back home, Ji-won prepares porridge for Ji-hyuk while remembering how she once did this for Min-hwan as well but wasn’t given a good reaction. She finally takes the food to Ji-hyuk’s house but hears a thud and Pang’s cries when she rings the bell, without much thinking, she remembers Ji-hyuk’s passcode and enters his house.

Inside, she finds Ji-hyuk on the ground and rushes to him only to find out that he has a fever. She tries to take him to the hospital which wakes him from his daze to see her and thinks that he is dreaming about her. He tells her that a doctor has already visited him which makes her relieved, while he continues mumbling about her.

He finally tells her about their first meeting and how he wanted to be her stable ground but cannot be. Meanwhile, Ji-won is surprised while recalling the incident he is talking about, and feels overwhelmed when Ji-hyuk admits that he has been loving her since their time in college. Ji-won is happy to find out that he too loves her and takes care of him for the rest of the night.

The next morning, Ji-hyuk wakes up next to Ji-won and is shocked when he remembers what he did the previous night. He asks Ji-won what else he did the previous night and she tells him about his confession which made her so happy. Ji-hyuk once again tries to pull himself away from Ji-won, telling her that she would regret being with him.

However, Ji-won doesn’t care and tells him that she would rather they regret together when the time comes. With this, she finally breaks his barrier and the two begin their dating life. While the two have a happy secret office romance, Min-hwan tries to talk to her but is stopped by Ji-won which leaves him angry as he begins to think about where things went wrong with her.

Later, Min-hwan brings Su-min to his mother and explains about her pregnancy while Ja-ok pretends to be annoyed by their deeds and reluctantly accepts Su-min. However, Min-hwan begins lying about Su-min’s education and other details while Su-min adds on about how Min-hwan has already met her mother.

She also lies about her family and successfully gains Ja-ok’s approval while getting in her good books. The next day, Ji-won is on her date with Ji-hyuk when she gets a message from Ju-ran who thanks her for telling her to get her parents involved as they have already taught her husband a lesson and called him to work at their restaurant.

Ji-won is happy that she has been able to help Ju-ran while Ji-hyuk compliments her on what she has done for Ju-ran. The two then continue to spend a romantic day in Busan and share a sunset kiss on the beach. The next day, Kyung-wook begins his act again and occupies Ju-ran’s seat, however, she is not going to stay quiet this time and teaches him a lesson.

This makes Kyung-wook sulk while Min-hwan follows him and tries to fawn over him, but also tries to fawn over Ju-ran the very same evening during her celebratory dinner. Everyone congratulates Ju-ran for her promotion while Ji-won gets emotional seeing Ju-ran’s father praise her and shower her with love.

However, this time she too has someone and Ji-won happily peeks at Ji-hyuk next to her while thanking her father. Meanwhile, Suk-joon arrives at the restaurant but sees a man walk out from a dark corner behind a woman while wiping the lipstick on his face. Suk-joon understands what they are doing but is shocked when Ju-ran walks out and introduces the man as her husband.

Unable to say anything to Ju-ran, he keeps quiet and joins the celebrations in silence. The next day, Ja-ok shows Min-hwan and Su-min the house she is going to rent for them which shocks Min-hwan as he thought that she was buying a house for him. Later, Su-min begins a tough shopping experience with Ja-ok as the latter imposes her preferences on the couple with everything that is being prepared for the wedding.

However, this annoyance from Ja-ok doesn’t stop Su-min from sending an invitation to Ji-won which the latter forwards to Ji-hyeok. But she is soon surprised when Ji-hyeok shares the same invite with the company which once again sparks the talk about Min-hwan’s deeds. Min-hwan rushes to Suk-joon who brushes him off by telling him that this is what is done for everyone and anyways news of it would’ve been out when Min-hwan was to get wedded.

Later, Suk-joon asks Ji-hyeok for the reason why he sent the invite to him to be spread and the latter tells him that anything that troubles Ji-won will be taken care of by him. Suk-joon passes on the information to Han-il along with pictures of Ji-hyuk’s date and tells him how happy he is to see Ji-hyuk finally doing something for himself.

Elsewhere, Ji-won cannot stop laughing at how petty her boyfriend can be and is grateful to have someone like him by her side. Meanwhile, Min-hwan is annoyed at Su-min and scolds her for sending their wedding invitation to his company. With this, the two couples spend their time before the fateful way in two different ways and soon it is the day of Min-hwan and Su-min’s wedding.

At the wedding venue, Su-min has finally made it to her wedding day after the hardships she has faced and is glad about how she has finally snatched the happiness of a family from Ji-won. However, Ji-won’s arrival shakes up Min-hwan before she goes to meet Su-min and thanks her for picking up the trash she left behind.

Su-min is shaken up by these words as she is not ready to believe that Ji-won is happy to have left Min-hwan. Su-min finally walks down the aisle like Ji-won once did and after much struggle from both her and Ji-won’s side, Su-min is married to Min-hwan. Ji-won is finally relieved as she has left behind her dreadful fate.

Later, Eun-ho arrives with Ye-ji and her friends who crash the wedding to humiliate Su-min and take revenge on Ji-won’s behalf. While Ji-won appreciates their help, she is unable to get over the way they bullied her in school. She then leaves with Ji-hyuk and is happy along the way as she no longer has to face a dreadful death in this life.

However, Ji-won is unaware that someone else is facing her past and it is none other than Ju-ran who is found crying in the storage room by Suk-joon. When asked about what happened, she reveals to him that she has stomach cancer. On the other hand, Ji-won and Ji-hyuk return home to find someone waiting for the latter and it is none other than his ex-fiance- Oh Yu-ra.

Marry My Husband Episode 11 Review

Episode 11 was surely the one we had all been waiting for as Ji-won finally gets rid of her ill fate and hands it over to the one who truly deserves it. And to add on is the love that she is receiving from Ji-hyuk which she had been waiting for and deserves more than anyone. This episode was truly a delight to watch as you find your frown turn into smiles throughout the episode.

Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk getting these precious moments with Ji-won is also something that we had been waiting for, and while he is still worried about his untimely death, seeing him happy right now is all that we need. This episode was truly a wish granted to viewers as everything that we had been waiting for made its appearance.

However, Ju-ran’s cancer and Oh Yu-ra’s arrival were not the way we wanted the episode to end. While one is living Ji-won’s previous life, the other is a plot twist for everyone from the drama watchers to the webtoon readers. Thus, with no clue how this character is going to develop, I appreciate the element of surprise that has been created for everyone with Yu-ra’s arrival.
