EXO’s Suho is confirmed to be leading a short film alongside Kim Seul Gi and Shin Ha Kyun!

 

[K-Drama]: EXO’s Suho To Join Kim Seul Gi And Shin Ha Kyun As Leads In Upcoming Short Film

 

The EXO leader will be presenting fans with another acting project as he lands the lead role for the upcoming short film Gift (literal translation)!

 

Runnig for around thirty minutes, Gift will tell the story of students researching on thermal imaging cameras.

 

It will serve as a follow-up to the 2017 hit short film Two Lights: Relumino. Led by the brilliant pair-up of Han Ji Min and Park Hyung Sik, the story centered on two people who met at a photography club joined by visually challenged people.

 

The sweet romance film also featured the usage of VR or virtual reality for the visually impaired. It is a tie-up between Samsung Electronics and esteemed director Heo Jin Ho, who will be helming Gift as well.

 

The acclaimed director is also popular for bringing the emotionally beautiful films Christmas in August, One Fine Spring Day and The Last Princess to life. With this, plus the success of Two Lights which was well-lauded by those who have seen it, the expectations for the new film starring Suho are set to higher bars.

 

The idol-actor, Kim Seul Gi, Shin Ha Kyun, and the rest of the mini movie’s cast are planned to start filming in late August.

 

Gift marks the third film Suho stars in, following Glory Days and Middle School Student A. He had also shown his capabilities as an actor previously by tugging at viewers’ hearts with the mini-drama Star of the Universe and playing a dashing lead role in Rich Man.

 

Meanwhile, it will be the second time Kim Seul Gi will share the screen with an EXO member after joining D.O in Room No. 7.
