The Bachelors (2022)

A story about family follows Qi Guosheng, a retired teacher who has been widowed for many years and his three sons with different personalities.

Qi Guosheng is a man who cares about the Chinese concept of "face" but his three sons have not afforded him the honor. His eldest Qi Tianzuo (Jia Nailiang) is a Michelin three-star dessert chef. He has a fear of marriage due to misconceptions about his own parents. Middle child Qi Tianyou (Guo Jingfei) was initially his father's pride. He's a college professor who had his life together yet he suddenly becomes a divorcee. Youngest son Qi Tian (Xiong Ziqi) faces problems with his love life. Including little grandson Qi Mowen, the Qi family home is like a male dormitory.

Three generations of male testosterone living under one roof is a recipe for disaster not to mention the fact that everyone has inherited Grandpa Qi's temper. The road to escaping single-hood has roses and thorns, but nothing can stop the pursuit of a better life. When the family has stopped all the quarrelling, they finally advance towards happiness.
