“Shadow Detective” is a crime thriller that first aired in October 2022 and depicts the story of Kim Taek Rok (Lee Sung Min), a veteran homicide detective who suddenly starts getting calls from someone who calls himself an old friend. The caller frames him for murder and starts to blackmail him. The new second season will follow the counter-attack of Kim Taek Rok as he returns to hunt down his blackmailer “friend.”

“O’PENing” is tvN’s collection of short dramas written by new screenwriters selected through the O’PEN Storyteller Contest. “O’PENing 2023” will feature seven diverse projects, with three of them airing in July.
“Summer, Lovemachine, Blues” is a road movie about Na Yi Soo (Go Soo), who runs an adult shop, and Yeo Deu Rim (Arin), who is tutored by him in order to enter a prestigious university. “Walk” (literal title) tells the story of Cha Soon Jae (Lee Soon Jae), who takes care of his wife’s dog following her passing. “Summer Cold” (literal title) is about Cha In Joo (Uhm Ji Won), who lives in complete darkness until she meets Kang Jin Do (Park Ji Hwan), a single father with a positive outlook on life.

Sooyoung is Eun Mi’s daughter Jin Hee, a police station patrol team leader who urgently needs to crack down on her mother rather than on her cases.
