KBS’s upcoming historical drama “When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon” (literal title) has released a poster!
“When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon” is a drama set in the Joseon era, during the time when prohibition laws were at their strongest. The series will tell the love story of Kang Ro Seo (played by Girl’s Day Hyeri), a struggling aristocrat who starts illegally making alcohol in order to support her family, and Joseon’s greatest inspector Nam Young (played by Yoo Seung Ho), who is known for living a very principled life.
The poster stars Kang Ro Seo and Nam Young, two polar opposites with very different principals in life. The text on the right side says, “The pursuit romance of a principled inspector and a woman who illegally brews alcohol.” Nam Young is holding a baton in one hand and grabbing her shoulder with the other. He wears an uneasy expression on his face as if he’s the one being chased. Unlike Nam Young, Kang Ro Seo gives a little smirk, and she looks completely relaxed as she hugs a jar of liquor. The comical poster piques curiosity about their special love story.
The drama’s producers shared, “The comical poster pleasantly and hilariously captures the extreme difference between Nam Young, an inspector who is chasing her, and Kang Ro Seo, a bold woman who illegally makes liquor who is being chased by him. Please look forward to the chemistry of the two characters who shouldn’t have met in the era of strict prohibition.”
“When the Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon” will premiere on December 20 at 9:30 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “The King’s Affection.”
