Woo Do Hwan is set to steal hearts in his upcoming role as an attorney!
MBC’s upcoming Saturday-Sunday drama “Joseon Attorney” (literal title) tells the story of an oejibu (attorney in Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on an enemy that caused the death of his parents through a trial. Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people and exemplifies how revenge stems from loneliness.
Woo Do Hwan transforms into the protagonist Kang Han Soo, an attorney with great charm and intelligence. Kang Han Soo, who is knowledgeable in various fields including civil law, commercial law, and criminal law, files all sorts of lawsuits to avenge the unjust murders of his parents through law.
In the new stills of Woo Do Hwan as Kang Han Soo, the character is evidently so naturally charismatic that he’s easily able to sway the crowd in his favor and shift the flow of a lawsuit. Utilizing his addictive charm, Kang Han Soo also unintentionally elicits anger and rage from the people, leading to a new lawsuit. Given how much pull he has with such large masses of people, anticipation is rising to see whether Kang Han Soo uses this ability to cause trouble or serve as a problem solver.
The production team of “Joseon Attorney” remarked, “Woo Do Hwan’s excellent and immersive acting performance will further enhance the charms of Kang Han Soo. Please pay attention to how Woo Do Hwan will draw out Kang Han Soo, who is overflowing with personality.”
MBC’s “Joseon Attorney” will start airing on March 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “Kokdu: Season of Deity.”
