Winners Of 2022 MAMA Awards Day 1

The 2022 MAMA Awards kicked off on November 29 in Osaka, Japan!

On November 29, Day 1 of the 2022 MAMA Awards took place at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome, with Jeon Somi serving as MC. This year’s ceremony will be held over the course of two nights, with more awards and performances to come on November 30 (Day 2).

Only one Daesang (Grand Prize) was awarded on Day 1: Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, which went to BTS for the fifth year in a row.

Meanwhile, a new award—Favorite New Artist—was given to four different groups: IVE, NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM, and Kep1er.

Finally, all 10 of this year’s Worldwide Fans’ Choice (Bonsang) awards were also handed out last night.
