The musical adaptation of “Dream High” has announced its first casting lineup!
According to the production company Art One Company on February 28, WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon, SF9’s Taeyang, and Eum Moon Suk have been confirmed for the role of Song Sam Dong in the musical adaption of “Dream High.” Previously, the role was played by actor Kim Soo Hyun in the drama.
KBS2’s “Dream High” is a 2011 drama set at a competitive arts high school that follows the story of six students trying to achieve love and their dreams in the music industry. The upcoming musical will be based on the original drama but will depict the story of the main characters after they graduate high school.
As Lee Seung Hoon and Taeyang are known as the main dancers of their respective teams, viewers can expect the two idols to showcase their charms by incorporating more of their exceptional dancing skills into the play. Attention is also high to see Eum Moon Suk making his debut in a musical, especially after he left a deep impression through his latest role in “The Roundup (The Outlaws 2).”
