SBS’s upcoming drama “My Strange Hero” has dropped another trailer!
“My Strange Hero” is about a man named Kang Bok Soo (Yoo Seung Ho), who returns to his old school to enact revenge after he was expelled as a student due to a false and terrible accusation. However, he soon becomes entangled again with his first love from that time, Son Soo Jung (Jo Bo Ah).
The clip starts off with Jo Bo Ah smiling sweetly as a boy narrates, “Ah, the goddess of our classroom. She’s pretty today, too.” However, the fantasy is rudely shattered with Yoo Seung Ho’s fervent disagreement as he declares, “Yeah, right. I’d be prettier if I had long hair. She’s going to get into college with her acting. She’s two-faced. She swears horribly, too!”
As the video progresses, Jo Bo Ah goes from a smiling angel to a cunning girl who swears, threatens to kill, and gives icy glares. Yoo Seung Ho wonders, “Isn’t she tired from smiling so much?”
Then one day, Yoo Seung Ho falls hard for her when she admits, “You were a bit cool earlier. I’ll look forward to it. You, Kang Bok Soo.” He stares blankly ahead of him as he painfully declares, “My heart… has been broken.”
Yoo Seung Ho eventually asks Jo Bo Ah for a date, and Jo Bo Ah quips, “I don’t date fools.” Yet, the two of them find themselves falling for each other. The romantic atmosphere is ruined by a misunderstanding though when Jo Bo Ah witnesses a male student falling off the roof as he screams, “Kang Bok Soo, save me!” Later on, they can be seen reuniting as adults.
My Strange Hero” premieres on December 10 and will be available on Viki. Check out the trailer below!
