Watch: WEi’s Kim Yo Han, Cho Yi Hyun, And More Dream Of Forging Their Own Paths In 1st Teaser For “School 2021”

KBS 2TV’s long-awaited drama “School 2021” has unveiled its first teaser!

The eighth installment in KBS’s popular “School” drama series, “School 2021” will tell the story of high school students choosing to follow their dreams instead of just preparing for college entrance exams. The coming-of-age tale will follow the growth, friendships, and romances of 18-year-olds facing an uncertain future.

WEi’s Kim Yo Han will star in the drama as Gong Ki Joon, a former Taekwondo athlete who must give up on his dream due to an injury, while Cho Yi Hyun will play his first love Jin Ji Won, who is determined to achieve her dream of becoming a carpenter. Chu Young Woo will play Jung Young Joo, a mysterious transfer student with a past connection to Gong Ki Joon, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol will play Kang Seo Young, a high-achieving student who is on track to get into one of Korea’s top universities.

The newly released teaser begins with Gong Ki Joon, Jin Ji Won, Jung Young Joo, and Kang Seo Young studying in a classroom before their textbooks magically disappear. The caption then reads, “Instead of studying, do you want to try doing something else?”

As the four characters work together to build a miniature school, they say in voice-over, “Drawn by us. Created by us. ‘School 2021’ will air its first episode on November 17.”

“School 2021” premieres on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Dramacool. Check out the first teaser for the drama below!
