Watch: SHINee's Minho and Son Naeun's Chemistry Shines While Filming Kiss Scene On Set Of "Romance In The House"

JTBC’s “Romance in the House” has unveiled a new making-of video from episodes 7 and 8!

“Romance in the House” is a drama starring Ji Jin Hee as Byun Moo Jin, a man who vanished into thin air after his wife Geum Ae Yeon (Kim Ji Soo) divorced him 11 years ago. After being presumed dead by his family for over a decade, he suddenly re-enters their life as their wealthy landlord.

The newly released behind-the-scenes video offers a delightful glimpse into the chemistry between Son Naeun and SHINee’s Minho, especially during their heart-fluttering kiss scene. In one memorable scene, Tae Pyung (Minho) teaches Mi Rae (Son Naeun) how to ride a bicycle, and their dynamic behind the scenes is full of playful teasing. After filming the full shot of the bicycle scene, Minho notices Son Naeun putting her hand in her jacket pocket and tries to tease her, assuming she did it because of the cold weather. However, Son Naeun quickly clarifies that she was just following the script, which instructed her to do so. This playful exchange prompts laughter from the crew as Minho’s teasing attempt backfires.

But Minho doesn’t stop there. In another playful moment, he holds the bicycle down too hard, making it difficult for Son Naeun to pedal, which leads to both of them bursting into laughter. “It was very funny,” Minho remarks. “You were saying, ‘Why is this not working?’ It didn’t work because I was holding it down.” Son Naeun also seizes her chance to tease Minho when he accidentally reads her lines while practicing the next scene. Laughing, she says, “That’s my line.”

In addition to these light-hearted moments, the two radiate genuine chemistry during their kiss scene. They rehearse thoroughly under the director’s guidance, joking and discussing the scene between takes. Minho’s considerate nature shines as he suggests Son Naeun keep wearing her padded jacket due to the cold, knowing the camera won’t catch it from a different angle. Their easy rapport and playful banter make for a memorable and seamless performance.
