Upcoming MBC drama “From Now, Showtime!” has released a hilarious teaser!
“From Now, Showtime!” is a comedy mystery drama about a famous and charismatic magician named Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin), who can summon ghosts, and a passionate police constable named Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo), who has supernatural powers.
The new preview shows Cha Cha Woong yelling “Showtime” at random places including the concession stand of a movie theater, cafe, and in the middle of a bridge. Eventually, police constables Go Seul Hae and Lee Yong Ryeol (Kim Hee Jae) come to arrest him. Cha Cha Woong hugs the streetlamp and reaches towards the sky as he yells “showtime” one more time.
Go Seul Hae says, “Cha Cha Woong, we received a complaint [about you].” The officers attempt to arrest him, but he hangs onto the streetlamp for dear life. Eventually, they slap his hands to make him lose his grip, and Lee Yong Ryeol forces him into the police car.
While driving to the station, Go Seul Hae asks her partner, “But what was he saying?” Lee Yong Ryeol looks indifferent as he comments, “I think he said ‘showtime.'” The clip ends with Go Seul Hae asking Cha Cha Woong, “What exactly is ‘showtime’ anyway?”
