KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Dog Knows Everything” has shared a glimpse of its script reading!
“Dog Knows Everything” is a new sitcom about a group of very active senior citizens and a former police dog named Sophie. Present at the script reading were director Kim Yoo Jin and writer Byun Sook Kyung, along with cast members Lee Soon Jae, Kim Yong Gun, Ye Soo Jung, Im Chae Moo, Song Ok Sook, Kim Ji Young, Lee Soo Kyung, Yeonwoo, Nam Yoon Su, and Gongchan. Bae Jung Nam, who will voice the dog Sophie, was also there.
Lee Soon Jae impressed everyone with his realistic acting and strong presence as he played himself, demonstrating his acclaimed talent and charisma right from the first script reading. He remarked, “’Dog Knows Everything’ is a drama that sheds light on events occurring around us through conversations with dogs.”
Kim Yong Gun, who also plays himself, shared his excitement about the drama. He said, “[The title] might sound a bit strange, but you’ll enjoy the drama once you start watching it.”
Rounding out the unique Avengers-like team of senior citizens is Ye Soo Jung, known for her distinctive presence; Im Chae Moo, praised for his comic timing; and Song Ok Sook, the youngest of the group.
The comedy drama also has a strong lineup of supporting actors: Park Sung Woong as Lee Ki Dong, Kim Ji Young as Hong Eun Ha, and Lee Soo Kyung as Kim Se Kyung all impressed with their acting skills and unique characters, adding to the excitement of the script reading.
Finally, the younger actors in the cast brought extra energy to the drama and displayed strong chemistry during the reading. Yeonwoo as Hong Cho Won, Nam Yoon Su as Hyun Ta, and B1A4’s Gongchan as Kang Min Woo smoothly adapted to the script and brought their characters to life.
