The first teaser for “Taxi Driver 2” has dropped!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice through the law. After a successful run in 2021, the hit drama is returning for a second season later this month.
Lee Je Hoon will be reprising his role as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works as a driver for the service. The first teaser focuses on Kim Do Gi and the mysterious Rainbow Taxi service that has encountered a new enemy.
While images of a crime scenes flash by, Kim Do Gi looks panicked and someone calmly shares, “Even while thinking that I’ve gotten all better, there are sometimes moments like this. I wish they would come back.”
A mysterious villain creates an eerie organization chart of Kim Do Gi and his fellow Rainbow Taxi team members and follows their every move. Jang Sung Chul (Kim Eui Sung) comments, “Someone terribly hates us.” Kim Do Gi responds, “This means that they already know us.”
The teaser further implies the villain is someone who is extremely wealthy, powerful, and knowledgeable of the perfectly designed blind spots of the law. Someone angrily asks, “Who on earth made this kind of monster?”
As the Rainbow Taxi team carries out their revenge missions and tries their best to uncover who is after them, Kim Do Gi encounters a series of dangerous incidents. Someone pleads with the villain, “Do you have any intention to stop here?” Eventually, Kim Do Gi personally steps forward to say, “There are things you can get back only if you remember. Because I remembered until the very end, I was able to unveil the truth to the world. Because I remembered, I was able to come stand in front of you.” He wittingly adds, “You’re going to end up paying an incredibly expensive taxi fee.”
