Watch: Jung Yoo Min And Sung Hoon Embark On Twisted Revenge Plot In Teaser For New Drama Based On Webtoon “Perfect Marriage Revenge”

MBN’s upcoming drama “Perfect Marriage Revenge” (working title) has released a thrilling new teaser!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Perfect Marriage Revenge” follows the story of Han Yi Joo (Jung Yoo Min), a woman who enters into a contract marriage with a man named Seo Do Guk (Sung Hoon) to seek revenge on her original husband.

The newly released teaser offers a glimpse into the revenge stories of the five main characters. It begins with a powerful scene as Seo Do Guk approaches Han Yi Joo, declaring, “Han Yi Joo, you won’t even begin to fathom how much I love you or when my love for you began,” and questions, “Do you really not know or are you pretending not to know?” The tension intensifies as Seo Do Guk grabs Han Yi Joo and pulls her closer.

The teaser then shifts to a scene with the caption, “Life was nothing but regret,” where Han Yi Joo faces a distressing situation as Yoo Se Hyuk (Oh Seung Yun)’s mother violently pulls her hair. Meanwhile, Lee Jung Hye (Lee Min Young), sporting a cold expression, narrates, “Do you know what I hate the most? People who don’t know their place.” Tension continues to mount as Lee Jung Hye adds, “What man would love you when your own mother has even abandoned you?” This narration coincides with Han Yi Joo’s struggle to hold back tears.

The story progresses with Yoo Se Hyuk holding hands with Han Yu Ra (Jin Ji Hee) and saying, “I’ll break up with Yi Joo. I want to be with you.” This finally brings Han Yi Joo to tears as she becomes resolute in her quest for revenge.

Following an accident that sends Han Yi Joo back in time, she decides to take control of her destiny, bringing an end to her previous life’s tragic relationship. The teaser continues with the phrase, “One more chance,” as Han Yi Joo emphasizes her resolve, declaring, “If you give me a chance just one more time, I’ll give it my all,” hinting at her upcoming dramatic transformation.

In the subsequent scene, Han Yi Joo rips her wedding dress in front of a shocked Yoo Se Hyuk, coldly declaring, “I will get revenge on them.” She then confidently approaches Seo Do Guk, offering him a contract marriage proposal with chilling confidence, saying, “How about marrying me instead of Yu Ra?” The two walk away with smiles, leaving Han Yu Ra perplexed and later in tears in Lee Jung Hye’s embrace, setting the stage for the thrilling plot twists to come.
