STUDIO X+U’s upcoming thriller drama “Tarot” has unveiled a new making-of video featuring Dex, Go Kyu Pil, and Jo Yeo Jeong!
“Tarot” unfolds as a series of seven omnibus horror episodes delving into mysterious events that could be part of anyone’s everyday life, all centered around the theme of tarot cards. The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards.
The newly released video starts with the actors sharing their thoughts on the drama. Jo Yeo Jeong expresses how she wanted to appear in all episodes when she first read the script, while Go Kyu Pil teases that the drama will be tense and interesting. Furthermore, Dex remarks, “What happens in the drama is what any Korean living in a city might have thought at one point. So I think it will provide plenty of chilling moments.”
The video continues to portray behind-the-scenes footage from the three episodes starring Jo Yeo Jeong, Dex, and Go Kyu Pil. Jo Yeo Jeong takes on the role of Ji Woo, a working mom in the episode “Santa’s Visit” who experiences fear upon learning that Santa Claus visited her home while her daughter Mi Na was alone on Christmas. Throughout the footage, she demonstrates her dedication to each scene and chemistry with the young actress, maintaining a warm connection with her at all times.
Meanwhile, Dex brings passion to his role in “Please Throw It Away,” portraying veteran rider Dong In. Despite the drama being his debut project, he approaches the character with depth and confidence, bringing vibrant energy to the set.
Lastly in “Going Home,” Go Kyu Pil embodies Kyung Rae, a character starkly contrasting with the actor himself. He exudes a serious aura on set when fully immersing into the role, yet off-camera, he shifts to a charming and affable demeanor, often seen wearing a gentle smile during interviews.
