Watch: Ahn Hyo Seop And Kim Sejeong Pretend To Be A Couple In Love In “A Business Proposal” Highlight Reel

“A Business Proposal” has released a four-minute video highlighting what will take place in the drama!

Based on a popular web novel adapted into a webtoon, “A Business Proposal” is a romantic comedy about an office employee who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO in place of a friend while hiding her identity.

Ahn Hyo Seop will star as chaebol heir Kang Tae Mu, who has everything from looks and brains to wealth and business savvy. Meanwhile, Kim Sejeong will star as ordinary food researcher Shin Ha Ri, who stands in for her best friend and chaebol heiress Jin Young Seo (Seol In Ah) at a blind date with Kang Tae Mu.

The highlight video shares a glimpse of the lead characters. Kang Tae Mu exudes confidence as he deals with business affairs at goFOOD. He’s talented in everything, including cooking and cleaning. However, his grandfather Kang Da Goo (Lee Deok Hwa) gives him a seemingly impossible project: marriage.

Kang Tae Mu goes on endless blind dates, and he looks drained as he asks, “Is there anyone else who goes on ten blind dates a day?” Cha Sung Hoon (Kim Min Kyu) replies, “It’s not over yet,” throwing Kang Tae Mu off guard.

Then the clip shows a brief glimpse of Shin Ha Ri. She’s a bright and cheerful person who is completely different from Kang Tae Mu. One day, she ends up getting into debt after getting into a physical disagreement with someone. Perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise, but her best friend Jin Young Seo comes to the rescue. She offers to pay Shin Ha Ri if she goes on a blind date on her behalf.

Unfortunately, Shin Ha RI’s blind date ends up being Kang Tae Mu, her boss! Kang Tae Mu finds out the truth and hands her a contract that states she has to pretend to be his lover for six months. Shin Ha Ri is outraged, but when she tries to argue with him, he threatens to sue her, and she has no choice but to go along with his plan.

Kang Tae Mu introduces Shin Ha Ri to Kang Da Goo, who has no idea about her real identity. Shin Ha Ri fearfully asks Kang Tae Mu, “What if he figures out that we’re lying?” In response, he calmly says, “If you’re scared, then when we’re in there, really be in love with me.”

From then on, Kang Tae Mu and Shin Ha Ri spend a lot of “quality” time together as they pretend to be a fake couple. However, they slowly grow attached to each other, and fans can look forward to their funny and sweet moments as they become true lovers. In addition, the video also gives a fun peek at the blossoming romance between Jin Young Seo and Cha Sung Hoon.
