TXT shows no signs of slowing down on the Billboard charts!
Earlier this year, TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and over three months later, it still remains the best-selling album of the year in the United States across all genres (not just K-pop) in terms of pure sales.
For the week ending on May 13, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” successfully spent its 14th consecutive week on the Billboard 200, where it ranked No. 190.
Notably, TXT is now only the second K-pop artist in history—following BTS—to chart two different albums for 14 weeks each on the Billboard 200. (Before “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” their 2022 mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also spent 14 consecutive weeks on the chart.)
Meanwhile, TXT re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 83 this week, marking the group’s 47th non-consecutive week on the chart (which it previously topped back in February). With this achievement, TXT has now tied EXO’s record for the third most cumulative weeks on the Artist 100 of any K-pop artist to date, following BTS and NCT 127.
Elsewhere on the Billboard charts, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” stayed strong at No. 6 in its 14th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, and it also climbed back up to No. 11 on both the Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart.
Congratulations to TXT on their impressive achievements!
