“The Roundup: Punishment” continues to draw crowds at the box office!
According to the Korean Film Council, as of 7 p.m. KST on May 4, “The Roundup: Punishment” had officially surpassed a total of 7 million moviegoers.
“The Roundup: Punishment” is now the fastest Korean film released in 2024 to hit the 7 million mark, easily beating the star-studded hit “Exhuma” (which took 16 days to reach the milestone earlier this year).
The film—which is the fourth installment in Ma Dong Seok’s “The Outlaws” series—has also tied the record set by “The Roundup: No Way Out” for the fastest film in the series to surpass 7 million moviegoers.
In honor of the movie’s achievement, the cast and crew of “The Roundup: Punishment” gathered to pose for a celebratory photo and thank audiences for their support.
