“Cheer Up” has joined the ratings race for Monday-Tuesday dramas!
According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of SBS’s new drama “Cheer Up” garnered an average nationwide rating of 2.3 percent.
“Cheer Up” tells the story of a group of college students that gets wrapped up in a story of passion after joining Theia, their school’s cheering squad that is falling into ruins after leaving behind its glory days. The drama stars Han Ji Hyun, Bae In Hyuk, Kim Hyun Jin, Jang Gyuri, Lee Eun Saem, Lee Jung Joon, Han Soo Ah, Kim Shin Bi, and Hyun Woo Seok as members of Theia. It is also SBS’s first Monday-Tuesday drama in three months, garnering attention as a collaboration project between director Han Tae Seop, who co-directed “Stove League,” and writer Cha Hae Won of “VIP.”
Meanwhile, KBS2’s “The Law Cafe” achieved an average nationwide rating of 6.5 percent, maintaining its place as the No. 1 Monday-Tuesday evening drama.
tvN’s “Mental Coach Jegal” scored an average nationwide rating of 1.8 percent, which is a dip from the previous episode’s rating of 2.127 percent.
