JTBC’s “The Atypical Family” wrapped up its run as the most buzzed-about drama of the week!
In its final week on air, “The Atypical Family” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “The Atypical Family” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its leads also made a strong showing on the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, where Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee took No. 2 and No. 4 respectively.
Notably, Chun Woo Hee once again claimed two of the top 10 spots on this week’s actor list: in addition to ranking No. 4 for “The Atypical Family,” she also took No. 10 for her starring turn in Netflix’s “The 8 Show.”
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Connection” rose to No. 2 on the drama list this week, and its star Ji Sung climbed to No. 5 on the actor list.
Jung Ryeo Won topped this week’s actor list for tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon,” which rose to No. 3 on the drama list, while her co-star Wi Ha Joon jumped to No. 3 on the actor list.
tvN’s “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” debuted at No. 4 on the drama list, with star Song Seung Heon entering the actor rankings at No. 9.
In its final week on air, JTBC’s “Frankly Speaking” came in at No. 5 on the drama list, while star Go Kyung Pyo climbed to No. 6 on the actor list.
MBC’s “Bitter Sweet Hell” held steady at No. 6 on the drama list, and leading lady Kim Hee Sun rose to No. 8 on the actor list this week.
