JTBC has released new stills of Park Min Young and Song Kang in the upcoming episode of “Forecasting Love and Weather”!
“Forecasting Love and Weather” is an office romance drama about the work and love lives of people who work at the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea’s national weather forecast service. Park Min Young stars as general forecaster Jin Ha Kyung, who keeps her professional and personal lives strictly separate. Song Kang stars as special reporter Lee Si Woo, who is a free spirit but passionate when it comes to weather.
In the first episode, which premiered to ratings of 4.5 percent, Jin Ha Kyung broke off her engagement with Han Ki Joon (Yoon Bak), who works in the spokesperson’s office and whom she dated for 10 years, after his betrayal. She also butted heads with Lee Si Woo, whose hotheadedness clashed directly with her coolheaded and by-the-book personality.
Lee Si Woo is the type to pursue until the end something that catches his attention, and he became sure that the capital region would get a torrential rainfall within three to four hours. But in terms of probability, it wasn’t even 20 percent, and from Jin Ha Kyung’s perspective, releasing a special report could cost the nation hundreds of millions of won. She ordered him to delay the warning and get supplementary research, but he defied his orders, sending out a warning without approval.
However, the new stills show a very different atmosphere for the two colleagues. Although Jin Ha Kyung is a clear drawer of lines between her professional and personal lives and is very good at managing her relationships, her expression shows slight signs of softening with a smile. Can the meeting of a coolheaded senior like a cold Siberian air mass and the passionate junior like a hot North Pacific air mass produce a significant weather change between them?
The production staff stated, “It’s been two months since a rainstorm blew through Ha Kyung’s life. How will Si Woo, who appeared like rain at the right time, change Ha Kyung’s weather once more?”
This episode will air on February 13 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
